• About Zivara Jewellery

Zivara was founded on a simple belief: true beauty begins with the light you carry within.

Our name, inspired by “ziva,” speaks to radiance, inner brilliance, and the quiet strength that makes each story worth celebrating. It’s this meaning that sits at the heart of everything we craft.

Our founder’s journey has taken him across the world—sharing the beauty of precious gemstones, teaching others to appreciate their magic, and representing some of the finest jewellery houses. Along the way, a deep love for artistry, authenticity, and the emotion behind every piece began to grow.

Zivara is the result of that love—a new jewellery brand shaped by passion, purpose, and an unwavering admiration for all things sparkly. Based in Cape Town and exclusively online, we’re here to bring you pieces that feel personal, meaningful, and made to honour the light that already lives within you.

  • Ring Sizing Guide.

    Find Your Perfect Fit

Sizing your finger correctly ensures your ring feels comfortable, secure, and made just for you. Use the simple steps below to measure at home and compare your results with our ring size guide.

    ✨ Tips for Accurate Measuring

    • Measure your finger in the evening when it’s naturally at its largest.
    • Ensure your hands are warm—cold fingers shrink.
    • Measure the exact finger (and hand) you plan to wear the ring on.
    • A good size should slide comfortably over your knuckle but fit snugly once on.

✨ How to Measure at Home

    Option 1: Paper Measuring Method

    1. Cut a thin strip of paper.
    2. Wrap it around the base of your finger.
    3. Mark where the ends meet.
    4. Lay it flat and measure the length in millimetres.
    5. Match your measurement to our circumference chart.

Option 2: Measure an Existing Ring

    1. Choose a ring that fits the same finger perfectly.
    2. Measure the inner diameter in millimetres.
    3. Compare it to our size chart.

    ✨ Band Thickness Matters

Wider bands fit more snugly. If you’re choosing a wide ring, consider sizing up by half a size.

  • Jewellery Cleaning & Care Tips:

    1. Avoid Chemicals
Remove your jewellery before using cleaning products, swimming in chlorinated pools, or applying perfumes, lotions, or hairsprays.

    2. Clean Gently

Use a soft, lint-free cloth or a jewellery polishing cloth to gently wipe your pieces after wearing. For a deeper clean, dip a soft brush in lukewarm soapy water and lightly scrub. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners or cloths.

    3. Store Properly

Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or lined jewellery box to prevent scratching or tarnishing. Avoid storing in humid environments.

    4. Limit Friction & Wear

Avoid wearing your rhodium-plated jewellery during strenuous activities or when handling rough materials. Repeated friction can wear down the plating over time.

    5. Replating is Normal

Over time, rhodium plating can fade, especially on frequently worn pieces. Professional replating restores the bright, reflective finish and extends the life of your jewellery.

    6. Regular Checks

Inspect your cubic stones regularly to ensure they are secure. Loose stones should be tightened by a professional jeweller to prevent loss.

    7. Keep Away from Extreme Temperatures

Avoid exposing your jewellery to extreme heat or sudden temperature changes, which may affect the plating and stones.
